AIRPORT COMMISSION UPDATE

Representatives from the Airport Commission will discuss the Commission’s goals and projects, as well as Council’s policies and expectations.

CHILD CARE ADVISORY COMMITTEE UPDATE

Representatives from the Child Care Advisory Committee will discuss the Committee’s goals and projects, as well as Council’s policies and expectations.

FIRE DEPARTMENT MASTER PLAN—ESCI

Fire Department staff will present concepts for the creation of a Master Plan to meet current and future needs of the department. Staff is seeking Council guidance to designate Emergency Services Consulting International (ESCI) as a Sole Source vendor to analyze the development of a Fire Department Master Plan. The development of a Master Plan will provide needed guidance to ensure that the department is best positioned to meet future demands including those anticipated by the Northgate annexation.

COMMUNICATIONS TOWER ON CITY PROPERTY

Todd Daoust with Digital Skylines, representing Verizon Wireless, will be present to discuss the possibility of entering into an agreement for placement of a 50-foot self-supported communication tower and small equipment structure on City property. Planning Development Services and Water Department staff will be in attendance to answer Council’s questions and to seek direction from Council regarding the placement of such structures on City property.
