Representatives from the Library Board will discuss the Board’s goals and projects, as well as Council’s policies and expectations.

PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION UPDATE

Representatives from the Planning and Zoning Commission will discuss the Commission’s goals and projects, as well as Council’s policies and expectations.

SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTER UPDATE

Representatives from the Senior Activity Center, Board of Directors, will be present to discuss the following topics with the City Council: 1) List of needs pertaining to the building where the Center is housed at 427 North 6th Avenue; 2) Senior Activity Center long-term goals; and 3) possible re-organization of the Center.

PROPOSED EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK CHANGES

Heather Buchanan, Human Resources Director, will be present to discuss proposed changes and clarification in the City’s Employee Handbook.

BILLBOARD MORATORIUM UPDATE

Staff will be present to discuss with Council proposed options for off premise signs (billboards) in the City of Pocatello. Staff will be seeking guidance on how Council would like to proceed on this matter.

PORTNEUF WATERSHED HEALTH PRESENTATION

Mike Settell, Watershed Guardians, Inc., Director; (mailing address: P.O. Box 634, Pocatello, ID 83204) will present a proposal to evaluate the effectiveness of using beavers to enhance surface and groundwater supplies along the Portneuf River.
