POCATELLO ARTS COUNCIL UPDATE

Representatives from the Pocatello Arts Council will discuss the Art Council’s goals and projects, as well as City Council’s policies and expectations.

SENIOR ACTIVITY CENTER UPDATE

Representatives from the Senior Activity Center, Board of Directors, will be present to discuss the following topics with the City Council: 1) List of needs pertaining to the building where the Center is housed at 427 North 6th Avenue; 2) Senior Activity Center long-term goals; and 3) possible re-organization of the Center.

PROPOSED CHANGES TO ANIMAL SERVICES VOLUNTEER PROGRAM

Rhett Nicks, Animal Services Director, will be present to give a brief update on proposed changes to the Animal Services Volunteer Program that will address concerns regarding the ease with which individuals can volunteer.

PROPOSED CENTRAL FLEET MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT FOR CITY VEHICLES/EQUIPMENT

Tom Kirkman, Street Operations Superintendent, will give a presentation regarding the development of a Central Fleet Maintenance Department that would centralize all City vehicles and equipment maintenance.

SEPTEMBER BUDGET AMENDMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2017

Representatives from the Finance Department will be present to provide information and explanations of proposed September budget amendments for Fiscal Year 2017.

PROPOSED CITY OF POCATELLO FINANCIAL POLICIES

Representatives from the Finance Department will be present to provide information regarding proposed financial policies for the City of Pocatello. The policies will placed into resolution form for Council’s consideration at a future meeting.
