The husband and wife duo of Jeff and Amy Howard will be returning to the Marshall Public Library for “Music in the Library.”
The pair brings their folk, bluegrass, and gospel sounds to the library Saturday, February 20 from 1 to 2 p.m. Their performance will include unique renditions of “Shenandoah,” “Angel Band,” “Wild Mountain Thyme,” “The Lass of Aughrim,” “Midnight Special,” and “Wagon Wheel.” The set will also feature tributes to folk-legend Pete Seeger and the Dust Bowl Troubadour, Woody Guthrie.
Amy is a classically trained musician while Jeff is primarily self-taught, teaching himself the guitar, banjo, and piano.
“Music in the Library” is free to the public and for more information on this event or any of the others held at the Marshall Public Library, visit marshallpl.org.
