Public Input Wanted on 2017-2021 “Consolidated Plan and Assessment of Fair Housing”

Pocatello

The City of Pocatello Neighborhood & Community Services Division is looking for public input on the 2017-2021 “Consolidated Plan and Assessment of Fair Housing.” The document outlines the City’s housing and community development needs, priorities, goals, and strategies. It also stipulates how funds will be allocated to housing and community development activities during the five year planning period. The plan is required of any municipality that receives federal block grant dollars for housing and community development from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). To view the draft plan, visit pocatello.us/DocumentCenter/Home/View/3116. Comments on the Consolidated Plan can be sent via email to Melanie Gygli, Neighborhood & Community Services Division Manager, at mgygli@pocatello.us and by mail to: ATTN: Neighborhood & Community Services Division

PO Box 4169

Pocatello, ID 83205-4169

The comment period is open until December 1. That evening, a public hearing before the Pocatello City Council will be held followed by a vote by the council on adopting the plan.
