Street Operations Department to Haul Snow in Portions of City

Pocatello

From Wednesday (1/25/17) at 8 p.m.to Thursday (1/26/17) at 8 a.m., Thursday (1/26/17) at 8 p.m. to Friday (1/27/17) at 8 a.m., and Friday (1/27/17) at 8 p.m. to Saturday (1/28/17) at 8 a.m., the department will be picking up and hauling away snow in portions of town. Wednesday into Thursday, crews will be working from West Whitman Street to West Wyeth Street between Union Pacific Avenue to North and South Garfield Avenue. Thursday into Friday, crews will be working from East Lewis Street to East Lander Street between 1st Avenue to 8th Avenue. Friday into Saturday, crews will be working in both areas and cleaning up any spots that may have been missed. To help reach as much snow as possible, residents are asked to park their vehicles on a street that is not scheduled to be worked on during that time.

A map of the impacted areas can be found at bit.ly/2jSRMJy.

Residents with questions about the effort are asked to contact the Street Operations Department at 208-234-6250 during regular business hours.
