If you’ve ever wanted to embrace your creative side or tackle that project you’ve been putting off, the Marshall Public Library may be able to help.
Starting March 1, the library will take part in a 30-day trial of EBSCO Hobbies and Crafts Reference Center. According to EBSCO, the service offers full text of over 2,000 magazines and more than 700 videos on hobby and craft subjects.
“It features everything from knitting to home and garden, outdoor recreation and more,” said Amy Campbell, Public Services Supervisor. “For example, aspiring chefs can utilize the more than 7,800 recipes contained in the database.”
The number of residents who can take part in the trial is unlimited but a valid library card is required. To receive the link and password, contact Amy Campbell at 208-232-1263 ext. 106.
Once the 30-day trial is over, library staff will analyze the number of users and determine if it should be added to the library’s roster of online services. Currently, the Marshall Public Library hosts services online including genealogy, language learning aides, and more.
