Environmental Fair, Potholes to be Topics for March “Calling City Hall”

Pocatello

One of Pocatello’s greenest events is on the agenda for the March episode of “Calling City Hall.”

Mayor Brian Blad and Councilman Jim Johnston will be joined by Portneuf Valley Environmental Fair Organizing Committee member Debbie Brady. Brady will outline what’s in store for the 2017 edition of the fair. The event is currently scheduled to be held April 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Caldwell Park.

During the second half of the show, Tom Kirkman, Street Operations Superintendent, will be stopping by to discuss how the City tackles the problems of potholes. Kirkman will explain how and why they form, as well as the different ways crews go about fixing Pocatello’s streets.

The show will air Tuesday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. Due to scheduling considerations, this month’s episode of “Calling City Hall” will be prerecorded.
