“Coffee with the Mayor” Slated for March 30

Residents will have their chance to bend the ear of Mayor Brian Blad over their breakfast beverage of choice a little later this month.

Thursday, March 30 at 9:30 a.m., Quail Ridge, 797 Hospital Way, will host a “Coffee with the Mayor.” The hour-long meeting allows local residents who don’t otherwise have access to City Hall to have their questions, comments, and concerns about local government heard. Topics at previous meetings have included economic development, the Portneuf River Vision Study, road construction, and the City’s flag redesign effort.

Previous coffees have been held at the Idaho State Veterans Home, Christensen Court, Portneuf Towers, and McKinley Manor.

This “Coffee with the Mayor” is sponsored by McDonald’s. Coffee and other treats will be provided by the restaurant.
