“Calling City Hall” to Talk “Junk the Juniper,” Golf Season

GenericCityHall

How the Pocatello Fire Department can help you rid your property of a fire hazard will be one of the topics for next month’s episode of “Calling City Hall.”

Mayor Brian Blad and Councilman Jim Johnston will be joined by Pocatello Fire Department Chief David Gates for a look at the department’s “Junk the Juniper” campaign. The program offers incentives to Pocatellans living in the Wildland/Urban Interface portions of town to remove juniper trees from their property.

For the second half of the program, the Mayor and Councilman will be paid a visit by Greg Allbright with Fore Golf, Inc. They’ll be discussing the City’s municipal courses and Greg may give the pair a few tips to improve their game. Fore Golf is the company contracted to provide day-to-day management of the City’s courses.

The show will air live on Government Access Channel 56 Tuesday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. and the public is invited to participate in the program by calling in with their questions to 208-234-6282.
