A special featuring one of PBS Kids’ most beloved characters will be on the big screen at the Marshall Public Library.
Saturday, May 6 at 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. the library will host free screenings of Tiger Family Trip, a special from the animated series Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. The hour-long show features Daniel, as well as the Tiger Family, taking “a road trip to see Grandpere, and Daniel has a special gift he can’t wait to give his grandfather. Follow the family as they sing and play games, visit a dinosaur-themed playground, and explore a butterfly garden on their way to Grandpere’s house.”
The screening is sponsored by Albertsons and is free to the public but interested viewers must preregister by May 5 at idahoptv.org/support_new/membership/danieltiger.cfm.
Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood builds upon the work of the landmark PBS series Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. The stories featured in Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood “were written based on extensive input from a wide range of early learning specialists, formative research with children and the benefit of more than 40 years of the work of Fred Rogers.”
