One of the most popular players in Utah Jazz history will be meeting with Pocatello’s Junior Jazz players.
Monday, June 12 at 5 p.m., Bryon Russell will stop by the gym at Franklin Middle School, 2271 East Terry Street. At the meet and greet, players will hear about his experience in the NBA, ask their questions about his career, and have a chance to get autographs.
“We’re beyond excited to have Mr. Russell meet with our local players,” said Brian Lowman, Recreation Supervisor for the City of Pocatello. “I’d like to thank the Utah Jazz organization for what will be a special experience for our players.”
The doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and players are asked to bring their own pen or marker as well as something they would like to have autographed.
Drafted by the Jazz in 1993, Russell scored 6,663 points, grabbed 2,914 rebounds, and recorded 1,085 assists over the course of his career.
