Free Day at Zoo Idaho, Discounted Admission to RPAC, Free Movie in Lower Ross Park July 8

A full slate of wallet and family friendly activities are scheduled for Ross Park next weekend.

Saturday, July 8 Zoo Idaho will be offering zoo-goers the chance to meet more than 100 animals free of charge. Meanwhile, the Ross Park Aquatic Complex is offering swimmers $2 off the price of admission and children 6-years-old and under will receive free admission. Rounding out the day will be a showing of “We Bought a Zoo” at the band shell in Lower Ross Park. The activities are sponsored by Connections Credit Union for the company’s 80th Anniversary celebration.

“We’d like to thank Connections Credit Union for their support in helping Pocatellans ‘Play Often and Live Better,’” said John Banks, Parks and Recreation Director. “Once you’ve seen all Zoo Idaho has to offer, head over to the Ross Park Aquatic Complex to cool off, and then cap the evening with a film. It’s a great way to spend a Saturday, all without leaving town.”

Waterslide day wristbands at the Ross Park Aquatic Complex are not subject to the discount.
