PRT Seeks Community Input for Master Transit Plan

PRTALT_1

Pocatello Regional Transit (PRT) is asking for the public’s help in laying out its route into the future.

Residents and riders are being asked to take a short survey on their PRT use. The input will help to shape PRT’s Master Transit Plan. The questionnaire asks about rider habits, routes used, why riders are utilizing PRT, as well as some demographic information.

“The responses help staff identify the public’s perceptions of PRT’s service, what the public sees in terms of needs, where the service is succeeding, and where we can improve,” said Dave Hunt, Pocatello Regional Transit Director. “Into the future, the feedback will help us prioritize our next steps forward.”

You can find the survey online at surveymonkey.com/r/PocatelloRegionalTransit. Paper copies of the survey can be found at PRT’s facility located at 5815 South 5th Avenue. Officials will also be taking PRT’s trolley on the road and taking comments around the community at a series of pop-up events from August 2 through August 4. A full list of where officials will be is included below.
