CityHallLINK

The 2017 election will be one of the topics of discussion for this month’s “Calling City Hall.”

Pocatello City Clerk Ruth Whitworth and Bannock County Elections Administrator Julie Hancock will join Mayor Brian Blad and Council President Steven Brown for a look at this year’s vote. They will be discussing, polling places, voter requirements, upcoming City elections, campaign reporting, where to find election information on the City’s website, and more.

During the second half of the show, Blad and Brown will be joined by Logan McDougall, City of Pocatello Public Information Officer and Flag Design Ad-Hoc Committee Chairman. McDougall will preview the upcoming first flag raising ceremony for Pocatello’s new flag. The event is scheduled for September 19 at 5:15 p.m. at City Hall. Free stickers, stick flags, and temporary tattoos of the new flag will be available for attendees.

The show will air Tuesday, September 12 at 6:30 p.m. Due to scheduling considerations, this month’s episode of “Calling City Hall” will be prerecorded.
