Irving Middle School student Jordan Lee will be Pocatello’s next Mayor for a Day.

Lee will join Mayor Brian Blad to help manage the day-to-day operations of the City on January 12. Currently, he is scheduled to meet with several leaders of City departments and accompany Mayor Blad to the Greater Pocatello Association of Realtors® luncheon.

Lee was chosen for his leadership and his ability to help as well as motivate other students.

The city’s middle and high schools chose a new Mayor for a Day once a month. The school makes the selection and a different school is represented each month.
