  1. Discounted Nordic Center Annual Passes Available

    October 1, 2017 - October 31, 2017 @ East Fork Mink Creek Nordic Center

    Discounted annual passes for the East Fork Mink Creek Nordic Center are available during the month of October. Located just 7 miles outside of Pocatello, East Mink Creek Nordic Center is a quality ski and snowshoe area. It hosts approximately 20K of groomed classic and skate trails. The Nordic Center is operated by the City of Pocatello through a special use permit with the United States Forest Service and through volunteer services of the Pocatello Cross-Country Ski Foundation (PXCSF). For updated information visit pokyxc.org. The area is staffed from 9am-3pm Monday-Thursday and 9am-5pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Skiers may use the trails at any time during the season by purchasing a season pass or by using the fee box at the parking lot. The full service rental center is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 9-5 throughout the season. The season typically runs from mid-December through late March.

  1. Adult Men's Basketball League Registration

    October 10, 2017, 11:00 AM - November 1, 2017, 5:00 PM @ Community Recreation Center

    The Adult Basketball League begins play in mid-November. The league is scheduled to play on a Monday through Thursday basis. Games times are 7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:30pm at the Middle Schools. Play is governed by the rules of the National Federation of High Schools with special modifications for our league. Fees are due before the first scheduled game. Organizational captain meetings are held October 10th and 17th at 5:00 pm in the Community Recreation Center, 144 Wilson. For more information, call Gary Carlson at 208-232-0082.
