Known as the U.S. Smile Capital, Pocatello is famous for its hospitality. Our philosophy is to make every visitor's stay memorable and fun whether you're staying the night, a few days or a few weeks.
There is much to do in Pocatello. Take time, for example, to visit the Pocatello Zoo, tour the Idaho Museum of Natural History, swim at the Ross Park Aquatic Complex, play golf at one of two municipal golf courses or relax in one of the many parks around town. There are also numerous special events throughout the year, such as the Wrangler Western Frontier Pro Rodeo, the Pocatello Marathon, concerts by the Idaho State Civic Symphony, and a host of performances at the L.E. and Thelma Stephens Performing Arts Center and much more.
If you want to explore the greater Pocatello area, you could take a short drive to area recreation opportunities for fishing, biking, hiking, skiing, and climbing. If you are looking for a little longer excursion, Pocatello is just a few hours from Sun Valley, Salt Lake City, Yellowstone National Park and Jackson Hole.
