CITY OF POCATELLO POLICE DEPARTMENT
The City of Pocatello Police Department provides numerous services to the community, including 24-hour city-wide patrol and criminal investigation. The Pocatello Police Department was the first nationally accredited police department in the state of Idaho and continues to maintain a high level of service to the citizens of the Pocatello community.
The Pocatello Police Department is currently accredited by the standards of the Idaho Chief's of Police Association.
To maintain high levels of service to the community the department has deployed close to 90 sworn officers and 35 non-sworn employees. The department answers approximately 29,000 calls for service per year.
