Every year city departments are required to present a performance report to the Mayor, City Council and citizen stakeholders (Service Level Report). Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, the departments discuss their mission, financial inputs, workload outputs, measures of efficiency & effectiveness (including comparisons to other cities & industry norms), results and their issues and concerns for the future.


MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE LEAGUE INFORMATION


HIGHLAND & RIVERSIDE GOLF COURSE LEAGUES

 
Highland-Riverside Men's Association
This mens group plays various tournaments throughout the golf season. Tournaments played are Opening Day, Memorial Day, Match Play, Club Championship and Closing Day. This group plays a Monday Night League which consists of a 5 person team. Monday Night League format utilizes gross & net, match play, and skins. League plays starts in May and runs until September. An official USGA handicap is required to compete in this league. Handicap & association dues are $70 for the 2011 season.
 
Highland-Riverside Women's Association
This ladies group plays 18 holes each Tuesday morning at Highland Golf Course and on Thursday mornings at Riverside Golf Course. The women play various formats along with an Opening Day Tournament and Club Championship. An official USGA handicap is required to compete in this league. Handicap & association dues are $90 for the 2011 season.
 
Wednesday Night Couples
This league is for couples and plays Wednesdays evenings. Play alternates between the two golf courses and cost of each event is $10 plus green fees. Various formats such as couples scramble, 4- person scramble, 3-3-3, Yellow Ball, and String are played throughout. The season starting in April and playing into September. A potluck tournament is held the last Wednesday of each month. There are no dues to join this league and no offical handicap is required.
 
Senior Men's League
This is for seniors (55 and older). League play is on Monday mornings. Entry fee is $5 per person plus green fees. League play will alternate between the two golf courses and various formats will be played. A senior discount of 10% will be offered in the cafe for league members.
The season will start in May and run through September. There are no dues to join this league and no offical handicap is required.
 
Junior League

This is an introductory junior program for juniors ages 5-17. The league consists of instruction and tournament play. Cost of league is $50 per person or $80 for both courses. Fee includes a T-shirt, prizes, trophies, lunch, and drinks.


Highland Jr League is held on the following Thursdays: June 9, June 16, June 23, June 30, July 7


Riverside Jr. League is held on the following Tuesdays: July 12, July 19, July 26, Aug. 2, Aug. 9
