JUNIOR OLYMPIC SOFTBALL
Junior Olympic Softball is a fast pitch softball league for girls. All teams will be registered with the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) and will be eligible for all ASA sanctioned tournaments. There are five divisions of play offered. 18 and under will be combined with the adult league, 16 and under, 14 and under, 12 and under and 10 and under. Division levels are determined by player's age as of January 1 of the current year. Birth certificates or copies are required for registration. Games are played on a Monday through Thursday basis beginning in June and ending in late July. Uniforms are not included in the registration fee.
RosterEligibility for 2011:
Any girl born between January 1, 1996 and December 31, 2002.
10-Under. A player born after
December 31, 1999 is ELIGIBLE.
12-Under. A player born after
December 31, 1997 is ELIGIBLE.
14-Under. A player born after
December 31, 1995 is ELIGIBLE.
OPENS:
April 4, 2011 (Birth certificate required)
CLOSES:May 4, 2011
Players added to any team roster after Friday, May 6, 2011 will be assessed an additional $5.00 late registration charge.
Participants may register at the Pocatello Recreation Center
at 144 Wilson.
