Run with the Big Dogs
Saturday, April 21, 2018
Join hundreds of walkers who will be raising money to support Pocatello's homeless animals at Run with the Big Dogs! You can enter the 2K walk, 2K run or 5K run with or without a dog or in memory of a beloved pet. Each team will receive a t-shirt for the human, bandana for the dog and a doggy bag (while supplies last) with special treats and information and refreshments. You will also be entered for a chance one of our great draw prizes!! Registration – Map
June is Adopt-a-Cat Month at the Pocatello Animal Shelter! You receive a total package worth more than $200—all for just $25–35!
- 1–2 Vaccinations for Upper Respiratory/Distemper
- Leukemia and FIV Test (Adult Cats)
- AKC Microchip Implant w/ registration
- Spay or Neuter procedure
- Rabies Vaccination
- Cardboard Carrier
- Collar & Identification
When it comes to bringing a new pet into your loving home, there is nothing better than saving the life of an animal who's waiting for someone to love. Our adoption fee is reduced thanks to Friends Of The Pocatello Animal Shelter.
Rockin' the Dawgs

From 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Stinker Stations will host the “Rockin the Dawgs” concert to benefit the pets at the Pocatello Animal Shelter. The concert will be held at the Old Town Pavilion, 420 North Main Street, and features the musical stylings of Paper Apes, Portneuf Gap, Relyx, and Diamondback. Admission to the show is a donation to the shelter’s animals including squeaky toys and treats for dogs and toy mice and laser pointers for cats. Donations will be accepted at any Pocatello Stinker Store, the Pocatello Animal Shelter, or the day of the event.

It's our 5th Annual Splash Dance for Dogs! Come join the fun on September 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Ross Park Aquatic Complex—only $10 per dog!
