About the Council

The Pocatello Arts Council was established in October 1991, to encourage, enhance, and educate the community with respect to the arts. Functioning as a working board, members collaborate to identify, plan and administrate public arts projects for community enhancement. Members oversee and manage available city allocated funding as well as seek additional arts funding from other sources to assist in the realization of projects. The Arts Council consists of 9 to 11 members who serve 3-year terms.
