Dumpster Services

The Sanitation Department offers dumpster rental services to help homeowners, business owners, and contractors clean up messes big and small. Our dumpster rentals provide low-cost and efficient cleanup solutions for businesses, remodels, renovations, clean outs, and many more projects.

RESIDENTIAL SERVICES

Temporary 3-Yard Container


The most common dumpster used for home projects and temporary trash removal is a 3-yard container. Container dimensions are 6' L x 4' W x 4.5' H.

Cost: $2.50 per day rent (30-day maximum) and $25.00 per dump or removal

Delivery, Dump, or Removal Requests: Call the Sanitation Department at 208.234.6192. Any requests received before noon can be completed the same day.

DOS AND DON'TS

Rocks, bricks, concrete, and asphalt shingles CANNOT be put in containers.
Refrigerators, freezers, hazardous waste, and tires CANNOT be put in containers.
Paint CANNOT be put into containers, unless it has been dried out with sand or kitty litter.
All items need to be small enough to fit in the dumpsters. Larger pieces need to be cut down.
If placing dirt or sod in containers, it can only be filled half full. 
Containers must be placed on the street unless a Private Property Release of Liability waiver is signed. Waivers may be signed and notarized at the Sanitation Department office.

Cost: $96.41 per month for one container, one pick-up per week. Special pick-ups: $19.76 per pick-up.
