Representatives from the Animal Shelter Advisory Board will discuss the Board’s goals and projects, as well as Council’s policies and expectations. (ACTION ITEM)

HUMAN RELATIONS ADVISORY BOARD UPDATE

Representatives from the Human Relations Advisory Board will discuss the Board’s goals and projects, as well as Council’s policies and expectations. (ACTION ITEM)

JAPANESE SISTER CITIES SUBCOMMITTEE UPDATE

Representatives from the Japanese Sister Cities Subcommittee will discuss the Subcommittee’s goals and projects, as well as Council’s policies and expectations. (ACTION ITEM)
5.

HAWTHORNE/QUINN PROJECT UPDATE

Art da Rosa, Senior Engineer, will give an update on the Hawthorne/Quinn project which will include information regarding property appraisals of owners on the right-of-way and permanent easement acquisitions. (ACTION ITEM)

FIRE APPARATUS DISPOSAL PROCESS

Travis Smith, Assistant Fire Chief, will be present to discuss a proposed disposal process for three (3) 1994 Pierce fire apparatuses. The apparatuses have reach the end of their duty life for the Pocatello Fire Department. However, there remains some functional life that would serve an agency with lower call volumes and lighter duty cycles. (ACTION ITEM)

SENIOR BUILDING AD-HOC COMMITTEE UPDATE

Representatives from the Senior Building Ad-Hoc Committee will be present to give an update regarding utilization of the former Street Department building at 1080 South First Avenue for a Senior Center. The Committee is seeking Council guidance regarding future use of the building.

PORTNEUF RIVER VISION IMPLEMENTATION PLAN UPDATE

City staff will give an update on the 2019 Portneuf River Vision Implementation Plan and solicit Council guidance on City-related action items related to the Plan. (ACTION ITEM)

ELECTRONIC TIMEKEEPING FOR PAYROLL PROPOSAL

Human Resources and Information Technologies staff will present a proposal regarding electronic timekeeping options and standardization of payroll processing for the City of Pocatello. (ACTION ITEM)

STORM WATER IMPROVEMENTS PROPOSAL—DONRICH AVENUE AND CITY HALL PARKING LOT

Tom Kirkman, Deputy Public Work Direct, will give a presentation on two proposed storm water improvement projects. The proposed projects are: a) Donrich Avenue and b) City Hall Parking lot. Both projects include redesign and construction to alleviate flooding concerns. (ACTION ITEM)
