POCATELLO ARTS COUNCIL UPDATE

Representatives from the Pocatello Arts Council will discuss the Committee’s goals and projects, as well as Council’s policies and expectations.  (ACTION ITEM)

PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION UPDATE

Representatives from the Planning and Zoning Commission will discuss the Commission’s goals and projects, as well as Council’s policies and expectations. (ACTION ITEM)

4.

SENIOR AD HOC COMMITTEE ENDORSEMENT REQUEST

Representatives from the Senior Ad Hoc Committee will be present to seek a letter of recognition from the Council in support of the value of a Senior Center in Pocatello and endorsement of the need for a facility to meet the changing demands of seniors to provide nutrition, recreation and lifelong learning opportunities in the community. (ACTION ITEM)

5.

INTERNET CRIMES AGAINST CHILDREN (ICAC) INVESTIGATOR REQUEST – POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Pocatello Police Department is requesting permission to add an additional officer to serve as a full-time Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Investigator.  The investigator will be tasked with investigating National Crimes for Missing and Endangered Children (NCMEC) referrals, while working with other ICAC investigators in southeast Idaho.  All wages and benefits, including overtime and training, for the position will be paid for by the Idaho Attorney General’s Office.  (ACTION ITEM)

CRESTVIEW ESTATES DIVISION 4 – PUBLIC PARK CONCEPT

Ryan Satterfield, Satterfield Realty and Development, Inc. and City staff will be in attendance to discuss a public park proposal as proposed within a future subdivision to be called Crestview Estates Division 4. (ACTION ITEM)

CITY PURCHASING AND FISCAL POLICIES AND PURCHASE CARD PROGRAM POLICY

Jim Krueger, Chief Financial Officer, and Heather Buchanan, Human Resources Director, will be present to discuss the City’s purchasing and fiscal policies and purchase card (P-Card) program policy.
