Summer Camps provide children (ages 5–14) the opportunity to spend the summer outside at the zoo learning about animals, zoos, and wildlife conservation. Activities include animal presentations, games, crafts, stories, and more! There is something for every child. Advanced registration required. Registration ends one week before the start date of camp! Junior Zookeeper Camp for Middle School Students (Ages 10–14) Ever wonder what it’s like to be a zookeeper? Want to learn how to train animals? During this camp you will learn all about zookeeping and what it takes to become a zookeeper. Students will participate in live animal encounters, work with Zoo Idaho’s zookeepers, learn animal training techniques, and more!
