Early Registration for 22nd Annual Run with the Big Dogs Ends April 21

Participants in previous Run with the Big Dogs events.

Your time is running out to get discounted registration for Pocatello’s furriest of 5Ks.


After April 21, the early registration period for The Friends of the Pocatello Animal Shelter’s 22nd Annual Run with the Big Dogs will close and prices to join in the fun will increase by $10. After April 21, adult registration (13 or older) will cost $35 per participant while children’s registration (12 and under) is $25 per participant. All participants who register will receive (while supplies last) a bandana for the dog, and a doggy bag. Participants will also be entered for a chance to win one of many draw prizes. 


On the day of the run, the Pocatello Animal Shelter will be closed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to allow staff and volunteers to participate and help put on the 22nd Annual Run with the Big Dogs.


Interested participants can register online for the 22nd Annual Run with the Big Dogs at bit.ly/2ESRMp7. Online registration closes at midnight on April 25. You can also register in-person at the Pocatello Animal Shelter until Friday, April 26 at 5 p.m. Race day registrations are also welcome.


Proceeds from the Run with the Big Dogs help to support the adoption of animals at the shelter.
