Saturday to be Proclaimed Portneuf Valley Community Environmental Fair Day

Mayor Brian Blad will proclaim Saturday, April 20 as Portneuf Valley Community Valley Environmental Fair Day at Thursday’s Pocatello City Council Meeting. 


The edict will be read by Councilwoman Beena Mannan and encourages “residents, businesses, and institutions to support the Fair, as well as make a commitment to undertake programs and projects that enhance our community’s natural environment by reducing the city’s carbon footprint and help build a sustainable community.” 


The proclamation was requested by the Portneuf Valley Environmental Fair Committee and will be accepted by Hannah Sanger. 


The Portneuf Valley Environmental Fair is slated for Saturday, April 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Caldwell Park. 


Thursday’s meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
