Ross Park Aquatic Complex to Celebrate 20th Anniversary July 26

Ross Park Aquatic Complex

Next week, the Ross Park Aquatic Complex will be celebrating 20 years as Pocatello’s prime swimming destination.

Friday, July 26 from noon to 8 p.m., the complex will be offering half-price admission along with free activities including money dives, raffle, bounce house, and more.

“Thank you to the community for their support over the last 20 years,” said Stacie VanKirk, Ross Park Aquatic Complex Manager. “We sincerely love providing a family-orientated, safe place to swim and cool off during the summer. It has been great to see so many wonderful memories made here, and we can’t wait to see what the next 20 years will bring.”

The Ross Park Aquatic Complex opened July 2, 1999. In the last five years, nearly 250,000 people came to the facility to beat the summer heat.

The Ross Park Aquatic Complex features a 25-yard by 25-meter main pool, waterslide, activity pool, and a zero-depth pool with playground.  For those wanting to stay out of the water, there is an open deck and grassy areas to sit and relax. If you are looking for a bite to eat during your time at the facility, the complex’s concessionaire, Ross Park Drive Inn, serves some of their diner’s favorite dishes including taco spaghetti, burgers, fries, tacos, ice cream, and more.
