Adoptable Cats from Pocatello Animal Services to be Available at PetSmart

Adoptable animals from Pocatello Animal Services will be in the spotlight at the new PetSmart location in the Gate City.

Pocatello Animal Services has partnered with PetSmart to have three kennels with cats and kittens available for adoption at the business. PetSmart staff will help take care of the available pets while Animal Services volunteers will help provide additional support.

“We’re always looking for new ways to get animals into their forever homes,” said Rhett Nicks, Pocatello Animal Services Director. “Thank you to PetSmart for kindly offering these kitties the opportunity to make an impression outside of the shelter on potential pet parents.”

The adoptable pets will be spayed or neutered, receive age appropriate vaccinations, microchip implants, City licenses, collars, and more prior to being featured at PetSmart. All kitties adopted from PetSmart will also receive a coupon book compliments of PetSmart.

Animals will be available starting October 16 with the store’s grand opening scheduled for October 21.
