Zoo Idaho Hosts Fourth Annual “Wild Winter Weekends”


The animals of Zoo Idaho invite you to pay them a visit in a different light this December.

Saturday, December 2 and Saturday, December 9 from noon to 4 p.m. on both days Zoo Idaho will host the 4th Annual Wild Winter Weekends. During the celebration, the animals’ exhibits are decorated with Christmas lights and the animals are given holiday-themed enrichment treats. The days will also feature a snow science class, showing attendees how animals adapt to the winter months. The class will be held from 2-3 p.m.

Admission to Wild Winter Weekends is free for children 2 and under, as well as Zoo Idaho Zoological Society members, $3.75 for ages 3 to 11, $5.75 for ages 12 and up, and $4.50 for ages 60 and up.
