Puppy Kisses: Pocatello Animal Shelter Pets Invite Residents to get Kissed Valentine’s Day

The dogs at the Pocatello Animal Shelter are hoping to find love this Valentine’s Day.

February 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the staff at the shelter will host a dog-kissing booth. People are invited to stop by the shelter, located at 3100 Avenue of the Chiefs, and get their picture taken while kissing one of the shelter’s dogs or bring their own dog in for a smooch.

“Even dogs deserve to feel loved on Valentine’s Day,” said Danielle Garcia, Interim Animal Services Director. “We’re hoping a few dogs and people will be struck by Cupid’s arrow and these pets get to go to their forever home.”

Donations for the photo are encouraged but not required. The pictures will be available for pickup Saturday, February 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Pocatello Animal Shelter.
