Plant it Forward: MPL Asks Residents to Consider Donating Extra Garden Bounty


When you’re getting ready for the growing season this year, the staff at the Marshall Public Library are asking you to consider planting some of it forward.  

Later this summer, the staff at the Marshall Public Library will be accepting donations of garden-grown vegetables for The Idaho Foodbank. Librarians are asking residents to consider reserving some of their garden harvest for the Foodbank.

“The Idaho Foodbank regularly needs fresh fruit and vegetables,” said Amy Campbell, Public Services Supervisor for the Marshall Public Library. “This is an easy way for people to share the extra bounty from their gardens with those in need.”
