Ross Park Aquatic Complex Opens for 2018 Season May 26

Pocatello’s Ross Park Aquatic Complex will be opening for the 2018 season on May 26 at noon.

New for 2018 will be an expanded offering of lazy river resistance walking events to five days a week and twice on weeknights. Sessions will be held Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Walkers enter the river and then walk against the current, getting a workout. The exercise is best suited for individuals 16 and older who want to begin or add to their fitness routine.

The popular summer destination also features a 25-yard by 25-meter main pool, waterslide, activity pool, and a zero-depth pool with playground.  For those wanting to stay out of the water, there is an open deck and grassy areas to sit and relax as well as a concession stand where patrons can pick up a bite to eat.

The 2018 season will wrap up August 26.
