Zoo Idaho Unveils Day Classes Schedule

ZooDayClasses2018

Zoo Idaho is announcing its schedule for day classes happening this summer.

The series features programs for children ages 5-years-old through 9-years-old and youth ages 10-years-old to 16-years-old. During the two-hour class, youth will learn about the different animals that call the zoo home.

“With the Birds of Prey session, they investigate these expert hunters,” said Rachael Shearouse, Education Curator with Zoo Idaho. “Meanwhile in the fox section, they explore the world through the eyes and nose of a fox and find out what makes them so sly. There is something for every child.”

The classes are $15 for the public and $12.75 for Zoo Idaho Zoological Society members and are held from 10 a.m. to noon.

A full schedule can be found at zooidaho.org/edzoocation/day-classes and to sign up, visit zooidaho.org/register.
