Road Work, Wildland Fire Safety to be Topics for June “Calling City Hall”

A look at street repair happening around Pocatello is on the agenda for the June episode of “Calling City Hall.”

Deputy Public Works Director Tom Kirkman will join Mayor Brian Blad and Councilwoman Linda Leeuwrik for a look at the Street Operations Department projects slated for this construction season. Over the last two years, the department has treated over 73 miles of road in the Gate City.

During the second half of the show, Pocatello Fire Department Assistant Chief for Public Safety Andy Holmes will stop by to share a few wildfire prevention tips.

The show will air live Tuesday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m. on Community Access Channel 64 and stream online.
