Officers to be Recognized for Outstanding Service


On Wednesday, July 11, the Pocatello Police Department will honor two officers and a local business with awards at 9:00 a.m. in the Pocatello City Council Chambers.

Rich Broadcasting will recognize Officer Ken McClure for going “Above the Call” and Officer Aaron Bergman will be receiving a meritorious service award. MAAG Prescription Center & Medical Supply will be recognized for securing a grant that purchased Narcan for the department.

In addition, a ceremony will be conducted to promote nine officers to their new ranks.

Family and friends are welcome to join the event at 911 North 7th Avenue.
