Ice Cream Zoofari Slated for Saturday, August 18

Zoo Idaho’s coldest and creamiest tradition is set for August 18.

Saturday, from noon to 4 p.m., the zoo will host its annual Ice Cream Zoofari event. Zoo-goers are treated to all you can eat ice cream, family-friendly entertainment and of course, a chance to see the zoo animals. For a second year, the Ice Cream Zoofari precedes the Portneuf Greenway Foundation’s annual fundraiser, Riverfest.

“You could have a whole day’s worth of fun here in the Lower Ross Park area,” said Peter Pruett, Zoo Idaho Superintendent. “Thank you to all our sponsors who make this possible and the Zoo Idaho Zoological Society for putting on a great event.”

Admission to Ice Cream Zoofari is free for ages 0 to 2, $4 for ages 3 to 11, and $6 for ages 12 and older.
