Public Hearing to be Held for Proposed Ordinance Regulating Feeding Wildlife in City Limits

A public hearing will be held at Thursday’s Pocatello City Council Meeting on an ordinance that would regulate the feeding of wildlife within city limits. 


The ordinance would prohibit “citizens from intentionally, knowingly or recklessly feeding or attracting wildlife within city limits.” There are also exceptions outlined in the draft. A copy of the proposed ordinance can be found at pocatello.us/AgendaCenter/ViewFile/Item/1630?fileID=5321


Thursday’s meeting is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
