A literary tradition will be returning to the Marshall Public Library in October.
Thursday, October 11, The Friends of the Marshall Public Library will start their three-day used book sale in the library, 113 South Garfield Avenue. Sale hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, the sale will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prices are $2 for hardback books and $1 for paperbacks Thursday and Friday. Saturday sees prices cut to $1 for hardbacks and 50 cents for paperbacks. After noon on Saturday, “Bag-o’-Books” will be available for $3 and bags are provided. Purchases can be made using cash or a debit/credit card.
The Friends of the Marshall Public Library is a 501(c)(3) organization and proceeds from the sale will benefit the library.
