Zoo Boo Scheduled for October 27 at Zoo Idaho

Ghouls, ghosts, and other ghastly creatures will be haunting Zoo Idaho Saturday, October 27.

Ghouls, ghosts, and other ghastly creatures will be haunting Zoo Idaho Saturday, October 27. 


From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the zoo will be hosting its annual Halloween themed event, Zoo Boo. Attendees are invited to come dressed in costume and trick-or-treat around Zoo Idaho as well as enjoy activities like an Oobleck experiment, Electric Monsters, the Haunted Tree House and more. 


“This year we have more candy stations and activities than ever before,” said Rachael Shearouse, Education Curator at Zoo Idaho. “It is going to be a spooky good time!”


Prizes will be given out to youth and adults for scariest and most creative costumes. An award will also be given out for best group costume. 


Admission to Zoo Boo is free for ages 0 to 2, $4 for ages 3 to 11, $6 for ages 12 to 59, and $4.50 for ages 60 and up.
