Marshall Public Library Adds Speedy Reader Kits to Collection

Kathryn Poulter, Youth Services Librarian at the Marshall Public Library, stands with one of the new

The Marshall Public Library is now making it easier to binge on your favorite book series.

Recently, the library added over 50 Speedy Reader Kits to its collections. The kits contain an entire book series in one bag and are available for checkout for six weeks, allowing readers to complete a series without interruption.

“For many of us, we’ve experienced the agony of having to wait for someone else to return the next book we’re interested in reading,” said Kathryn Poulter, Youth Services Librarian. “Now, that wait is a thing of the past. If you like to devour books quickly, a Speedy Reader Kit might be perfect for you.”

Currently, there are kits available for “The Chronicles of Narnia” series by C.S. Lewis, the “Mary Poppins” series by P.L. Travers, the “Harry Potter” series by J.K. Rowling, the “Maze Runner” series by James Dashner, and more. To view available Speedy Reader Kits, visit bit.ly/2QoVzB7

The Speedy Reader Kits can be found in the children’s fiction area on the first floor of the library. Checkouts are limited to one per library card.
