Parents’ Night Out to Address Mental Health Awareness

The Pocatello Police Department is teaming up with Outer Limits Fun Zone to present "Parents’ Night Out" events.

At “Parents’ Night Out,” caregivers are invited to listen to a presentation about issues affecting local youth. The first presentation on mental health awareness will feature representatives of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare and will be Tuesday, January 22 at 6:30 p.m. at Outer Limits Fun Zone, 1800 Garrett Way. Officers with the Pocatello Police Department will also be available to answer questions.

Parents are welcome to bring children who are old enough to play in the Play Palace or able to play miniature golf while adults listen to the presentation. The department’s D.A.R.E. Jeep will also be making an appearance at the events.

The second session will be on Tuesday, February 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Outer Limits Fun Zone and the topic will be internet and social media safety.
