Annual Maintenance Planned for Pocatello Community Recreation Center

Entrance at the Community Recreation Center

The City of Pocatello’s Community Recreation Center (CRC) will be closed starting Monday, August 19 for annual maintenance.

During the closure, staff will be upgrading portions of the facility and performing a deep cleaning. However, the front desk will remain open for program registration and general information Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the closure.

“Late August is typically one of the CRC’s slower times and is why these dates were selected to close the facility,” said Stacie VanKirk, Community Recreation Center Manager. “We apologize for any inconvenience the closure may cause.”

The CRC is scheduled to reopen September 3 but due to unforeseen circumstances, the date may be rescheduled.

Members will receive either a two-week pro-rate or two-week extension on their membership and residents with questions are invited to contact Community Recreation Center staff at 208-232-3901.
