The Pocatello Arts Council has a vacancy open for immediate appointment.

This volunteer board was established to encourage, enhance and educate the community with respect to the arts. It is a working board with members collaborating to identify, plan and administrate public art projects for community enhancement. The Arts Council also oversees and manages available City-allocated funding, as well as seeks additional arts funding from other sources. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.

Interested persons ages 16 and older can obtain an application by contacting the Mayor’s Office at 911 North 7th Avenue, visiting the Advisory Committees link at or by calling 208-234-6163.

Due Date: Applications for membership must be received by October 4, 2017.
